Mikko Bäckström
Culture & Leadership ConsultantMikko’s career in brand building is spread throughout four decades. During his years, Mikko has designed and launched dozens of successful brands, both local and global. Empowered by an eclectic academic background combining business with psychology, philosophy and other cognitive sciences, Mikko emphasizes the importance of radical and uncompromising human-centricity as the single and most crucial ingredient of superb employer brands. Mikko is an avid advocate of servant leadership, and is currently writing a book on the subject.
Miikka Huhta
Researcher, author and advisorMiikka’s career began in diverse HR roles.
Since 2016, he has worked as a trainer and consultant, first at the research company Universum, then at the consulting agency Miltton, and now part-time at Vetovoimatoimisto, an agency focused on workplace attractiveness. Through consulting and training, Miikka has helped hundreds of organizations address challenges related to employee experience and employer branding.Together with Visa Myllyntaus, Miikka has co-authored two books that were finalists in the Finnish Business Book competition organized by Suomen Ekonomit. Their debut book, “Työnantajabrändi ja työntekijäkokemus” (Employer Branding and Employee Experience), was the first comprehensive guide on workplace attraction tailored for Finnish organizations. Their latest book, “Monimuotoisuus työelämässä” (Diversity in the Workplace), builds on similar themes, delving deeper into the realms of diversity, inclusivity, and equity.Currently, Miikka’s main focus is his doctoral research within the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence’s doctoral program. His research examines organizational communication related to artificial intelligence and its impact on employer branding, as well as employees’ sense of work meaningfulness and belonging.
Maiju Karppinen
