FINALISTS

WINNER

Mehiläinen:

Mehiläinen’s case gave us an impressive view into a very solid strategy and foundation for all the chosen tactical actions and activities. Their EVP is in sync with their customer promise, just the way it should be, and they clearly pursue emotional impact, which is the essence of all branding work. By far, it was the best example of sound foundational work for their employer brand. Simply strong work and some superb results. 🤩

Nitor:

The jury felt that the idea was creative, fresh, and new. It is all about inclusion and WLB, which are very attractive attributes for an employer to have in their EB right now. Also, the project’s impacts were well outlined in the entry, and the results were good and tangible. Even some media coverage was earned via this, so it had an effect on the external image of Nitor.

In the end, the judges felt that this entry created a feeling of a caring company that is truly interested in how their employees and their families are doing and how they can help as an employer. Good job Nitor! 🤩

Mavericks: A Witted Company

The approach was greatly localized with cultural insights, which made this entry stand out. The usage of traditional media (OOH) was very refreshing. In a highly digitalized world, it stands out when you use a media that others don’t. It’s a media that shouldn’t be forgotten.

It was a good way of catching the attention, a fun wordplay, and the overall execution worked well. We, the jury found the messaging concrete, clear and catchy.

The campaign was planned with strategic employer branding intent, engaged employees, and played with local opportunities, delivering great results. It was the most creative entry, which worked as a differentiator.

WINNER

Verohallinto

Verohallinto’s execution was superb on many fronts: the strategy, the interactivity with the audience and the involvement of employees were second-to-none. The creative style and tone were disruptive, fun and original, and the overall aim to switch the audiences’ perception from a boring, bureaucratic, and passive state agency into a friendly, relaxed, and fun service provider was in line with the overall aims of the brand, and judging from the simply amazing results, also highly successful.

Verohallinto managed to disrupt itself, its audience, and the society at large with this entry, and by doing it DIY, managed to give a good bang for the taxpayers’ buck. Hence, the jury felt that the win in the Wild Ideas category was well justified! Well done! 🤩
